FITNESS AND HEALTH: BEGINNING LINE DANCING
Learn Beginner’s steps including Grapevines, JazzboxesLindy’s, Samba’s, Push-Turns, Kick-Ball Changes, Shuffles, Mambos, Charlestons, and more! Each class will teach you a few of these moves and then you will USE them in a beginner line dance.  Upon completion, you will be able to attend any line dance class and have a foundation of steps that will make learning at those classes far easier. You will also have some popular line dances in your repertoire that you can take to wedding receptions and parties of all kinds.

FITNESS AND HEALTH: FULL SWING FUN-BEGINNING GOLF

Experience all the fundamentals of making a proper golf swing.  Learn all the aspects of how the golf swing works from the beginning to the end through lots of hands-on practice. 

It is preferable that you have your own golf clubs although there are some rentals/loaners at the golf course. Class limited to 10 students.

 Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this class is subject to CDC guidelines and may be canceled at any given time.

FITNESS AND HEALTH: GENTLE MAT PILATES

Gentle Mat Pilates is a blend of exercises to increase core strength, flexibility, and breath control and will focus on body alignment to improve balance and posture. Those taking this class should be able to get up and down from the floor safely.

Materials needed: Yoga/exercise mat. 

This class will be offered via Zoom and any handouts emailed to all participants. All you have to do is log on at the appointed date and time and make sure the speakers on your computer work. A web camera is not needed, although we'd love to see smiling faces! You'll be able to see the instructor and her screen, and ask questions verbally, or type them into a chat box. You must register with a valid email address as login instructions and any supplemental material will be emailed there. 

 

You will receive an email with log-in instructions for the Zoom 'meeting room.' Zoom is a user-friendly conferencing platform, with the ability to create a live classroom experience.
