Gentle Map Pilates is a blend of exercises to increase core strength, flexibility, and breath control and will focus on body alignment to improve balance and posture. Those taking this class should be able to get up and down from the floor safely.
Materials needed: Yoga/exercise mat and 9-inch exercise ball.
THIS IS AN ON-LINE CLASS. You will need access to a computer, laptop, tablet, or smart phone for video conferencing. Classes will be conducted on-line live via Zoom, a video conferencing platform. About a week before the course begins, you will receive an email with log-in instructions for the Zoom 'meeting room.' Zoom is a user-friendly conferencing platform, with the ability to create a live classroom experience.
Class dates are as follows: March 16, 23, (no class on March 30), April 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 5-6 p.m.
